Strava has added Personalised Progress Charts to the mobile app, showing a user’s top three sport categories by time spent.

All users of the iOS and Android Strava mobile apps will be able to access the update, which has been added to the sport buttons in the ‘Progress’ section of the ‘You’ tab, the ‘Profile’ section of the ‘You’ tab, and each individual profile.

Any activity a user logged in the last 12 weeks will be included and there is no longer a three-sport limit. The sports will be ordered based on how often a user completes that activity type, with more recent activities counting more than older activities. When viewing friends’ profiles, users will be able to see their progress charts.

Strava say the update will make for a more ‘personalised’ Progress tab, with charts able to reflect any changes in a user's top activities.

‘Personalised Progress Charts will mean it is now easier than ever for athletes to learn more about how their community stays active – and be inspired along the way,’ Strava says.

Strava has recently made other updates to the fitness app, including the addition of 3D Terrain Mode to map features.
