Stacey Solomon has launched a new clothing range with In The Style (In The Style)

In The Style, the newly floated online fashion retailer, said a collection with Stacey Solomon launched this week has already nearly sold out.

The AIM-listed womenswear firm, known for collections it has created and launched with celebrities, gave the update as it said turnover for the year to March 31 is not expected to be less than £44.5 million.

That is more than doubled from what was recorded in the prior 12 months.

Adam Frisby, chief executive and founder of In The Style, said demand for a size 4-28 range it worked on with TV personality Solomon “was absolutely huge”.

It only launched on Tuesday and Frisby told the Evening Standard: “We have nearly sold out of the whole collection.”

The group’s trading update today comes after it floated at 200p per share last month, valuing it at around £105 million.

It said during the full year the number of new customers gained rose 19% to 420,000. The increase was 59% excluding those that purchased items from charity campaign products.

In light of the strong trading performance, In The Style said that prior to the year end it repaid around £250,000 of furlough money.
