14.07.2022 / 09:00

  • Top in Switzerland: With around 190 apprentices, corresponding to 6.5% of full-time positions, Sunrise will be training the highest number of apprentices in the ICT sector from summer onwards.

  • 100% success: 52 Sunrise Young Talents received their certificates last week, bringing their vocational training to a successful conclusion.

  • Around 60% of the freshly graduated professionals will start a permanent position at Sunrise in August 2022.

  • Sunrise is strongly committed to training young people and is expanding the number of apprenticeships to 250 by summer 2025.

«Vocational training at Sunrise is in line with our brand promise: Dream Big. Do Big. Sunrise provides apprentices with an extremely challenging training program. Achieving a 100% success rate once again in the final exams shows that the investment in training motivated and inspiring young people is worthwhile. I would like to congratulate the apprentices most sincerely on this fantastic success,» says André Krause, CEO of Sunrise, proudly.

With a share of apprenticeships of around 6.5% (190 apprentices) of full-time positions, Sunrise will be training the highest number of apprentices in the ICT sector from the beginning of August. The goal is to continue to employ as many young talents as possible after their apprenticeship: «Qualified ICT specialists are in high demand. That's why we also offer motivated and ambitious apprentices long-term prospects with us. From August 2022, we will employ around 60% of all apprentices as permanent professionals,» says Felix Häberli, Head of Young Talents at Sunrise.

In the future, Sunrise will invest even more in developing qualified specialists, further expanding the number of apprenticeships to a total of 250 by summer 2025. The focus is particularly on the digital professions of mediamatician and IT specialist.
