'Suspected stolen' caravan seized from rural layby by police
A caravan was seized from a layby in the Faringdon area as police suspected it had been stolen.
Thames Valley Police’s (TVP) Rural Crime Taskforce was contacted about the caravan by the Faringdon Neighbourhood Team, which is part of TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse.
A spokesperson for the taskforce said: “Using skills taught to our rural crime officers, PC Uren seized the caravan as suspected stolen so it can be examined.

“Should anyone have any information regarding this, they can contact Thames Valley Police via 101 or online quoting CMP Ref INC-20230920-1827.”
The Rural Crime Taskforce was created in 2022 to tackle serious and organised rural crime and support rural communities.
It consists of a team of officers, as well as intelligence support, who work with partners, drone units, and the Joint Operations Unit with Hampshire.
