Taika Waititi And Rita Ora Confirm Relationship On The Red Carpet
Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi appears to have confirmed his relationship with singer Rita Ora, as the couple attended the premiere of The Suicide Squad together.
Waititi, who won an Oscar last year for his Jojo Rabbit screenplay, and Ora, who is a coach on The Voice Australia, posed for photos together on the red carpet while holding hands, seeming to confirm their romantic connection.
Their public appearance comes after they were rumoured to be an item earlier this year, when they were pictured sharing a cosy moment on a balcony together with Thor actress Tessa Thompson – something which Waititi later said wasn't a big deal, adding: 'I was doing nothing wrong.'
Waititi and Ora are said to have met earlier this year while both working in Australia.
The couple attended The Suicide Squad's premiere to watch Waititi play Ratcatcher, a former exterminator turned villain, in the movie.
Waititi currently has a packed work schedule beyond The Suicide Squad. Not only is he currently working on the fourth Thor movie, Love and Thunder, he also has a live-action Flash Gordon movie on the way.
He is lined up to write and direct the movie, which was originally intended to be animated, and producer John Davies has teased that Waititi has 'the most fantastically interesting vision for this movie'.
