Today, in case you weren’t already aware, is National Tea Day. And if there’s one thing we Brits love more than drinking tea, it’s talking about how much we love drinking tea.

Do you put the milk in first? Are you an ardent Yorkshire Tea drinker, or more of an Earl Grey type? Would you ever deign to warm your brew in the microwave, or does the very thought of such a thing make you want to scream into your tea cosy?

Yesterday’s Talking Point: Are you ready to return to the office?

A poll in the Standard yesterday revealed that two-thirds of Londoners would be happy to return to the office, so we asked for your take on the matter.

Responses were mixed - “Whatsupp” thought that commuters wouldn’t be ready to travel on public transport, while “Sashkin3” pointed out that he had never left the office in the first place.

Jane Sullivan and “flowerofthewoods” also pointed out the irrelevance of the question to many: Jane is retired, and “flowerofthewoods” has been working from home since 2018.
