HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Teekay Corp. (TK) on Thursday reported a loss of $18.4 million in its fourth quarter.

The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 18 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.

The oil and gas shipping company posted revenue of $491.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $374.3 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $79.2 million, or 79 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $388.9 million.

The company's shares closed at $3.89. A year ago, they were trading at $7.83.
