Police are hunting a wedding guest who was caught on CCTV hurling a bottle of wine at a cashier in a Tesco Express when she was refused alcohol.

The woman, who was wearing a short purple dress, attacked the staff member in a store in Market Place, Oundle, Northamptonshire, on 27 November, 2019.

She initially left the store after being told she would not be allowed to buy wine but returned a few minutes later between 9.45pm and 10pm to try again.

When she was refused for a second time she became verbally abusive and then picked up a bottle and threw it at a member of staff.
