Investment analyst is the highest paying graduate finance job the UK with an average starting salary of £43,797 ($56,783), according to new data analysis by MoneyTransfers.com.

But UK graduates could end up earning more if they are willing to go further afield. The role of investment analyst is also the highest paying graduate finance job in five other European countries, with the average starting salary in Luxembourg and the Netherlands standing at £71,473 and £59,693 respectively, according to the analysis of data from employer feedback specialists GlassDoor.

Switzerland offers the highest paying graduate finance roles in Europe with finance associates roles paying an average starting salary of £93,379 — £21,619 more per year than the second-place country Liechtenstein.

The third highest paying European country is Luxembourg, offering £71,473 for the role of investment analyst, followed by Denmark (£65,839, Norway (£64,631, and Finland (£62,321).

Auditor is the highest paying graduate finance role in ten European countries including Liechtenstein with a starting salary of £71,760 and Finland (£62,321).

The position of finance analyst offers the highest salary in nine European countries including Denmark (£65,839), Norway (£64,631), and Austria (£61,034).

Graduates can earn the most in finance associate roles in France (£45,989), Germany (£61,722), Ireland (£36,657), and Switzerland (£93,379).

In Spain, finance administrator is the graduate finance role with the most earning potential with an average annual salary of £29,151.

Junior accountant jobs can earn graduates the most in Ukraine with a starting salary of £32,795.

In the UK, there are 27,000 online searches each month for graduate finance jobs, according to MoneyTransfers.com.
