'The Masked Singer' final: Who won? Who were the final three celebrities?

The Masked Singer has named its season two winner as Sausage - revealing that Joss Stone was behind the mask.

Stone, aka Sausage, went up against Robin and Badger in the series final, with Robin bowing out first leaving Sausage and Badger to fight it out for the champion's title.

Fans of the show and the judges were left guessing who Sausage was in the final after weeks of believing that it was either Stacey Solomon or Sheridan Smith.

They were left open-mouthed at Sausage's identity, and were also shocked to discover that she was performing whilst pregnant throughout the series.

Explaining why she'd signed up to The Masked Singer, Stone said: "Why not? Life can be too serious. We should just dress up in chips and sausage and have a laugh."

Actor Sheridan Smith tweeted her thanks for flattering guesses that she could have been Sausage.

The final reveals did not disappoint viewers, who had been impressed by all three finalists from the beginning of the series.

Sausage's surprise reveal also went down well with fans.

Runner-up Badger was unmasked as Ne-Yo, a close friend of judge Rita Ora who was surprised that she hadn't managed to guess his identity sooner.

Ne-Yo said: "I've had so much fun, it's a great experience and I'd happily do it again, but I might have to work a little harder to fool you guys next time."

Season one winner Nicola Roberts, whose alter ego was Queen Bee, joined the panel as a guest judge for the final.

Roberts correctly guessed who Robin and Badger were, but was as shocked as her co-stars to see who the winner really was.

This series has also seen Mel B, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Glenn Hoddle, Lenny Henry and Sue Perkins amongst its masked performers.
