Brits looking for internships in marketing can also expect to earn less, with salaries averaging £800 per month.

The sector with the third lowest paying internship roles is sales, with an average salary of £950 per month. However, sales roles are often commission based, therefore interns could end up making more than the base average salary, MoneyTransfers.com said.
