This Shillong café promises an authentic Khasi experience

This is one of Shillong’s best-known cafes. You & I – Arts Café is a non-profit organisation That runs on a sustainability model. It is perhaps most famous for the 50 types of teas on its menu but there’s a lot more to it than that.

You & I is dedicated to promoting Khasi culture. This is reflected in its décor and its menu. It also promotes local artists and craftsmen from around Meghalaya. There are talks and activities that help young Khasis learn about their culture.
