This 'life-changing' DIY hack makes old bras look good as new: 'I'm obsessed'

TikTokers are cutting up their bras — for a good reason.

Recently, user @lila.gellerr demonstrated a DIY hack that can turn virtually any excessively padded bra into a delicate piece of lacy lingerie.

The TikTok bra hack is simple: If you have a bra with way too much padding, all you have to do is cut the padding out so you’re left with just the lacy skeleton of the bra. Try to cut near the underwire of the bra for a precise cut and keep going until all the “bra guts” are gone.

“I’m not a big fan of padding and making my boobs look bigger so I love this,” Lila said as she showed off her bra transformation.

Users couldn’t believe how well the TikTok bra hack actually worked.

“I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t this. I’M OBSESSED,” one person said.

“Yup about to do this,” another added.

“LIFE-CHANGING,” a third commented.

Other users have also tried the DIY bra hack — and it worked equally well for them.

“Guys I cannot make this s*** up, it came out so good,” user Claire Meyer exclaimed after using the hack on an old bra. “This s*** is so cute!”

“PLEASE GO DO THIS OMG,” she added in her caption.

Though the TikTok bra hack has taken on a life of its own, it seems the idea originated with user Alexa Fletcher, who turned a thrifted push-up bra into a bralette by cutting out the padding. Thank you, Alexa!
