TikToker reveals 'secret spot' to escape crowds at Disneyland: "I thought I knew all the hidden places...'

A Disneyland fan has divulged a hidden seating area that park guests might not know exists — and it’s the perfect spot to sit down and eat if you want to avoid crowds.

Decode and demystify Gen Z's latest online slang terms with In The Know's new glossary.

David Vaughn (@thedavidvaughn) has almost 100,000 followers who tune into his insider info and updates about Disneyland. In one TikTok, he shows off a “hidden outdoor eating spot” that looks almost totally empty while he’s sitting there.

With just $1,000 and one day, this Harlem bedroom gets a brand new look

“The hidden Disneyland picnic area is surprisingly easy to miss,” he captioned the video.

According to a screenshot of the map, Vaughn added in the clip, the picnic area is close to both Disneyland and California Adventure. It’s slightly outside of the entrance to the parks, surrounded by rows of trees.

Some commenters shared that they remember their parents taking them to that area to eat lunch they brought from home — rather than paying for food inside the park. Vaughn clarified in the comments that you can actually bring your own food to Disneyland — but there are some things that aren’t permitted, like loose ice.

“You’re giving away too much,” one commenter joked.

“That’s our secret spot!” another added.

But for many viewers, the picnic area was a complete surprise — even for major Disneyland fans.

“I can’t even,” one person wrote. “I thought I knew all the hidden places, and then you show me this?! My life is a lie.”
