Tottenham vs Fulham lineups: Confirmed starting XIs, team news and injury latest as Dele Alli and Bale start
Tottenham have handed a rare Premier League start to Dele Alli as Gareth Bale keeps his place for the trip to Fulham.
It is the first time Dele has been named in a league XI since the opening day and the first time the pair have both started alongside Heung-min Son and Harry Kane.
Jose Mourinho has already said he cannot play Bale in all of the next three matches, despite his brilliant brace against the Clarets, but forward keeps his place at Craven Cottage to allow him to continue to build momentum. Lucas Moura drops to the bench in three changes.
Toby Alderweireld is asked to start three times in a week, putting his involvement against Crystal Palace in doubt.
Matt Doherty and Ben Davies come in at full-back in the other changes, with Mourinho seemingly believing Sergio Reguilon and Serge Aurier are best saved for the threat of Wilfred Zaha and Co. at the weekend.
Giovani Lo Celso is Spurs’ only absentee as he continues to work his way back from a hamstring problem.
Fulham also make three changes, with Ivan Cavaleiro, Mario Lemina and Antonee Robinson coming in for Kenny Tete, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Bobby Decordova-Reid
Tom Cairney remains out and Aleksandar Mitrovic is on the bench as Fulham look to win their first London derby in 22.
