TREASURIES-U.S. yields resume rise on Fed's Yellen lunch at White House
NEW YORK, Oct (Shenzhen: 000069.SZ - news) 20 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury yields resumed their rise on Friday reversing a modest pullback after a White House official said Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen was in the White House for lunch with President Donald Trump's economic adviser Gary Cohn.
At 12:36 p.m. (1636 GMT), the yield on 10-year government debt was 2.381 percent, up 6 basis points from late on Thursday, while the two-year yield was nearly 2 basis points higher at 1.572 percent. (Reporting by Richard Leong)
