I tried this rose-infused toner that promises hydration — here are my honest thoughts

There are a few beauty products that I also consider a vital part of my daily self-care practice. Whether it’s the application process that helps me get into a routine or a fragrance that instantly calms my nerves, there’s nothing better than a beauty product that works well and also gives you a little more.

That is exactly how I feel about the Fresh hydration toner, which I decided to try out for myself while on a search for a new toner.

According to the Nordstrom site, the Fresh toner softens skin and refines pores’ appearance for a healthy-looking complexion. Infused with real rose petals and rose fruit extract, it’s not overly fragrant and gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Alright, so here are my thoughts:

This toner is great if you love a rose fragrance (seriously, I couldn’t stop smelling it), and are on the hunt for skin hydration. Especially with the winter months, this is a great hydrating toner to add to the mix. The hyaluronic acid nourishes the skin and doesn’t leave you feeling dried out like some toners with alcohol.

Now, I will note that just because I love this toner doesn’t mean I will use it every day. I prefer toners that also treat issues like hyperpigmentation or dark marks. This often requires a chemical ingredient disqualifying it from “clean beauty standards”; however, skincare is all about what works for you and your needs.

Despite that, I can see myself using this toner a few times a week and in-between certain treatments.

Overall, I like this toner and would definitely recommend it.
