There are few people that we trust with our makeup bags (and wardrobes) entirely – and Trinny Woodall is one of those select few. And right now, the brand is having a flash sale with 10% discount across all makeup and skincare. Trinny’s sales are a rarity and this one will only last 24 hours – so be quick.

The brand really has a stronghold over our bathroom cabinets and makeup routines. Our favourites? You can’t go wrong with Trinny’s targeted retinal serums which are a holy grail for fine lines, sun damage, and congested pores.

On the makeup side of things, Trinny London’s BFF Rebalance foundation is the perfect ready-to-wear base with skincare infused into the formula. This one scored a top spot in our edit of the best tinted moisturisers.

And for skincare newbies or those with sensitive skin, the brand’s Tiptoe PHA Exfoliant is a gentle route to glowing and balanced skin.

Since launching back in 2017, Trinny London has garnered a loving fanbase of devotees. Its tremendous success can be boiled down to the brand’s philosophy; to do away with overflowing makeup bags and instead taking a streamlined approach to your beauty routine.

Along with simplicity, the brand champions beauty that multitasks – hardworking skincare-makeup hybrids that take care of your skin.

And if you follow her on social media, you’ll know Trinny herself has always been BIG into skincare. So it’s no surprise that the brand has branched out into the skincare sphere, and we were lucky enough to get our hands on the two new cleansers launching today.

Trinny London cleansers: The Prima verdict

After trying out these products, it's easy to see that Trinny put a lot of thought into them, saying herself that the brand's skincare was "four years in the making".

She states that her "best research" was the years she spent doing makeovers. For the cleansers, she drew on her wealth of experience of "working with different women, different skin types, different faces".

The Be Your Best Cleanser is an oil-based balm that is specifically designed with dry skin in mind. It feels rich and nourishing to apply, and does not leave the skin feeling or looking like an oil slick. It can be used both in the mornings for your AM cleanse, and in the evenings where it can remove even the most stubborn mascara.

The Better Off AHA/PHA gel cleanser is definitely more intensive than the balm. The AHA is an acid made from sugary fruits which helps to exfoliate the skin. The PHA is an acid that works in much the same way to clear off dead skin but also boosts cell regeneration and plumps fine lines. This combination really helps you go a little deeper – an ideal fit for those with oilier skin. Although it does give a thorough clean, it does so without stripping the skin and leaving it tight – a common issue with oily skin cleansers.

Both cleansers have a slight herbaceous smell to them, which isn't too overpowering and is perfect if you are sensitive to fragrances in your skincare. The packaging feels luxe and weighty, yet it's refillable – win win.

Oh Trinny, you’ve done it again!
