While high-end hair products can give you salon-worthy results, some of their prices are, well, hair-raising. Plus, there may be cheaper hair care products that are just as good as their more expensive luxury counterparts. Whether you’re looking for more wallet-friendly dupes of your favorite hair products, or simply don’t want to spend the time hunting for them yourself, we’ve got you covered. In this episode of In The Know: Duped, host Oneika shares some of her favorite product dupes for hair care essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and dry shampoo.

The DevaCurl No-Poo Original is a fan favorite shampoo, especially for people with curly and coily hair types. But, despite it being so popular, the No-Poo Original is pretty costly at $26 per bottle. Luckily, there is a great dupe: the SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Shampoo. “You know what, this is actually a personal favorite of mine,” admits Oneika. “Not only does it smell amazing, it is made of 100% virgin coconut and shea oils. It also is super hydrating and it lifts the impurities from your hair.” But the best part? The SheaMoisture shampoo is only $12!

For conditioner, Oneika highlights the Living Proof Full Conditioner as a great detangler that leaves hair feeling super soft, but at $30 it can be hard on your wallet. For a great dupe, Oneika points to the GIOVANNI Smooth As Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner at just $20 a bottle. Like the Living Proof conditioner, the GIOVANNI dupe is super hydrating, repairs damage, and is safe for color-treated hair. But even better, the GIOVANNI dupe is cruelty-free to boot.

Of course, sometimes you don’t have time for a full wash of your hair. That’s where dry shampoo comes in. Batiste Dry Shampoo is a tried and true favorite, and at $8 it’s not prohibitively expensive. But, there’s a great dupe that’s even cheaper! The Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Dry Shampoo is just as good as Batiste and only $5, which is nearly half the price! It absorbs excess oils from the hair and gives a fresher look overall.

With so many great and inexpensive hair product dupes, you’ll be able to get healthier looking hair while keeping your bank account just as healthy.
