Taco Bell fans love this homemade Crunchwrap Supreme recipe — and it takes less than 15 minutes to make

There’s nothing quite like a Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme.

Love it or hate it, the part-quesadilla, part-crunchy-taco, part-who-knows-what-else is an iconic fast food item. It’s also surprisingly easy to make at home.

Inspired by this simple, easy-to-follow recipe from Bless This Food, In The Know producer Nicholas Rudzewick set out to make his own Crunchwrap Supreme at home. The best part? The whole thing took less than 15 minutes.

How to make a Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme at home

First up, ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to turn your home into a Taco Bell:

  • One large flour tortilla

  • 1 pound of ground beef, cooked

  • One pack of taco seasoning

  • One bag of bite-sized tortilla chips

  • One small container of sour cream

  • One jar of queso-style cheese

  • One pack of shredded Mexican cheese

  • 1-2 cups shredded lettuce

  • One tomato, diced

Now, time to put it all together. The trickiest part here is folding your tortilla — so be sure to watch Nick’s video above for some helpful tips:

  1. Lay out your tortilla, and top with a dollop of sour cream. Spread the sour cream around the center of the tortilla, leaving about 1 inch of space on the edges.

  2. Add your shredded cheese, ground beef, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Again, be sure to leave some space along the edge of your tortilla.

  3. Crunch a few handfuls of tortilla chips into a small bowl, then sprinkle them over your toppings. Finally, add a generous pour of heated, jarred queso over the top.

  4. Now it’s time to fold. Starting with the side closest to you, bring the edge of your tortilla into the center. Then, do the same with an adjacent side, overlapping the second fold over the first. Do this five times total, until the tortilla is fully folded into itself.

  5. Cook the Crunchwrap over a well-oiled skillet — starting with the folded side down. After a few minutes (once the bottom starts to get a nice, golden crisp), flip and cook the other side. Then, remove it from the pan.

  6. Last but not least, cut into your Crunchwrap Supreme, maybe take a photo or two and enjoy!

Fry your food without the guilt:
