TVLine Items: Gilmore Girls ‘Reunion,’ Invincible Return Date and More

Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and EP Daniel Palladino have tapped a Stars Hollow alum for their upcoming ballet drama Étoile.

Yanic Truesdale (aka GG’s Michel) will recur in the Prime Video series as the head of a Parisian ballet company, our sister site Deadline reports.

Étoile will be set in New York City and Paris, and follow the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars. The cast includes Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Gideon Glick (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Alphonse, Call My Agent!), Simon Callow (Outlander), Lou de Laâge (The Innocents) and David Alvarez (West Side Story).

* Prime Video’s animated series Invincible will return with the second half of its eight-episode second season on Thursday, March 14, with four new installments airing weekly.

* Burna Boy, Luke Combs and Travis Scott have been added as performers for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, airing Sunday, Feb. 4 on CBS.

* True Crime News, a new daily syndicated crime show hosted by Emmy-winning journalist Ana Garcia, will premiere nationally this September on select Fox-owned stations. Relatedly, The Flip Side, a syndicated game show hosted by Family Matters icon Jaleel White, has been greenlit to launch this fall on CBS stations.

* Peacock has released a teaser for Apples Never Fall, starring Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy and Alison Brie, and premiering with all seven episodes on Thursday, March 14:

* Disney+ has released a trailer for the third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which kicks off with a three-episode premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 21:
