Ugandan inflation edges down to 8.1 percent in October

KAMPALA (Reuters) - Uganda's headline inflation rate slowed to 8.1 percent in the year to October and the Uganda Bureau of Statistics revised September's rate to 8.4 percent from 8 percent. Core inflation edged lower to 7.2 percent during the period, after the previous month's rate was revised to 7.4 percent from 6.9 percent, official data showed on Thursday.
