Ugandan shilling weakens on manufacturers' dollar demand

KAMPALA (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling was weakened on Tuesday on the back of higher appetite for hard currency from manufacturing firms and commercial banks closing short positions, traders said. At 0920 GMT, commercial Banks quoted the shilling at 3,380/3,390, down from Monday's close of 3,373/3,383. (Reporting by Elias Biryabarema; Editing by Duncan Miriri)
