UK bond yields touch two-week high on Georgia count
LONDON (Reuters) - British government bond yields rose to their highest level since Dec. 24 on Wednesday, tracking a rise in U.S. Treasury yields as the count for two elections in Georgia suggested Democrats may gain control of the U.S. Senate.
Benchmark 10-year gilt yields peaked at 0.260% at 0803 GMT, up nearly 6 basis points on the day, and 20- and 30-year yields also showed similar gains.
