UK new car registrations fall 1.6% in October - SMMT
LONDON (Reuters) - British new car registrations fell 1.6% in annual terms last month, industry data showed on Thursday.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said there were 140,945 new cars registered in October, bringing the year-to-date total for the year-to-date to 1,384,601 - down some 31% compared with the first 10 months of last year.
