UK GAS-Prices decline on healthy supply, mild temperatures
LONDON, July 10 (Reuters) - British wholesale gas prices declined on Monday due to healthy supply and mild temperatures. * British within-day gas price down 1.20 pence at 35.25 pence per therm at 0735 GMT. * Day-ahead gas price down by 0.75 pence to 36.25 p/therm. * The system is slightly oversupplied with demand forecast at around 200 million cubic metres (mcm) and flows at 204 mcm/day, according to National Grid (LSE: NG.L - news) . * Liquefied natural gas (Dusseldorf: LI5.DU - news) send-out from South Hook has increased to 20 mcm, while flows from Norway through the Langeled pipeline are quite strong at 47 mcm/day. * Current domestic production is seen at around 95 mcm. * Thomson Reuters (Dusseldorf: TOC.DU - news) meteorologist Georg Muller said temperatures will be near normal this week but there will be unsettled conditions for a few days from Tuesday. Next (Frankfurt: 779551 - news) week is seen warmer, though Britain will remain partially unsettled. * Peak wind generation is seen rising on Tuesday to 1,614 megawatts (MW), from 1,067 MW on Monday, Elexon data shows. * In Britain's power market, baseload power for day-ahead delivery rose by 11.4 percent to 58.00 pounds per megawatt hour (MWh).
