Yahoo Finance UK weather: Frost and cooling temperatures to brace the nation
The milder temperatures experiences by many across the UK are now being swapped for lowering temperatures, frost and fog as we progress through the last week of November.
The persistent rain seen throughout the country in November won’t be stopping completely, with a band of rain coming in a south-easterly direction covering England and Wales.
The rain is then set to retreat with a drier day from 3pm for most of the country, followed by a clear nightfall in all but the far southeast of England.
The northeast and northwest of England are likely to see highs of 8C and enjoy a brighter spell than the rest of the country, with the exception of a few scattered showers in the northwest.
The highest temperatures will be seen in London, where the mercury will top at 11C, and the coldest parts of the country will be seen in parts of Scotland at just 2C.
Despite the Met Office stating that things will start to cool down and clear up, there is still one active flood warning in England, with Keswick in the Lake District being told to expect flooding. This comes after heavy rainfall hit large portions of the UK.
Tonight will be more settled than the daytime, and most parts of the country will be dry with clear skies, turning frosty in places with a few fog patches forming.
