Ukraine central bank declares Kharkiv's Mega bank insolvent
KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine's central bank on Friday said in a statement that it had recognised Kharkiv's Megabank as insolvent, citing lending practices at the bank ahead of the war. The bank, which reported shareholder capital of 823.7 mln hryvnias ($28.16 million) last June, is 11.3% owned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and 11.3% by Germany's KfW.
