Every milestone counts and there’s nothing like seeing your little one reach the high chair phase.

At around six months babies can hold their heads up, which means they can sit at the family dinner table. Sitting face-to-face can help foster bonding, independence and a little culinary curiosity.

In this episode of Parenting Wins, hosts Andrea and Jose share their picks for the best high chairs on the market.

“It’s really cool to sort of discover the world through their eyes as they’re starting to learn,” Andrea said. “One of my favorite moments is when they are finally strong enough to sit up and they can join you at the table. [You can] kind of watch them discover new tastes and flavors.”

Here are the best high chairs on the market:

1. Inglesina High Chair

This compact high chair is a major space-saver. The leg-less design attaches directly to your dining table. It even has a three-point harness to keep your baby safe and secure.

“It’s super convenient especially in small apartments and this literally slides right into your dining room table,” Jose said.

The Inglesina High Chair also comes with its own carrying bag, making it excellent for travel.

2. Trip Trapp High Chair

“I love this high chair. I actually have two of these at my house, that’s how much I love it.,” Andrea said.

The Trip Trapp is not just chic and stylish but it’s height-adjustable so that it grows with your child.

“You sort of start off with that baby support setup,” Andrea explained. “Eventually as your baby gets more confident and can climb in and out by themselves, it’s super easy to remove. This can actually be a grownup chair as well.”

3. Four-in-One Evenflo High Chair

Not only is this high chair affordable at less than $60, but it’s a four-in-one, so you’ll be getting even more bang for your buck. It converts from an infant high chair to a toddler stand-alone to a big kid chair and finally a playtime table and chair.

“It has a five-point harness which is fantastic,” Jose said. “This is removable, the seat and tray, so it’s easy cleaning. It’s four months up to five years, it’s great.”
