Guys, bobs aren’t going anywhere. We’ve already established that blunt bobs seem to be the go-to hairstyle for winter – just look at Kourtney Kardashian and Selena Gomez. Then we had Billie Eilish with her take on it with a wispy, choppy bob. Now, it looks like Zendaya is the latest celeb to join the bob brigade – or is she?... *Cue dramatic, mysterious music*.
Zendaya was walking the red carpet at the annual French football awards Ballon d’Or at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. Not only did the appearance involve a red-carpet appearance alongside Spiderman co-star Tom Holland (be still our beating hearts, we’re obsessed), it also saw Zendaya sporting what appeared to be a chin-skimming bob.
Posing for photographers, the Euphoria star’s hair was swept into a deep side-parting and sat sleekly in a super short bob. Of course, we went into *MAYDAY MAYDAY, BOB ALERT* drive, except it appears to be a faux bob.
Yep, in pictures taken from the side, it looks like Zendaya’s hair has been pinned up to create the illusion of a bob – these celebrity hairstylists are geniuses, right?! The way it was parted even gave the appearance of a faux side fringe, too.
As for the rest of her beauty look, the actor has glowing skin, perfectly-groomed eyebrows and a subtle smoky eye that winged out at the edges.
So if you’ve been considering giving a bob a go, maybe you could make like Zendaya and pin your hair up first to feel it out. Though, you’d have to dig out all of your bobby pins first (it can’t be just us who always loses them?!)…
