Unplanned outage at UK's Hornsea gas storage extended again

LONDON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - An unplanned outage at Britain's Hornsea gas storage site which started on Wednesday will continue until Friday evening, operator SSE SSE.L said on Thursday.

The outage is now cheduled to end at 1800 GMT. SSE (LSE: SSE.L - news) said on Thursday evening it would end at 1200 GMT on Friday.

The outage started at 0820 GMT on Wednesday and is reducing the facility's ability to deliver gas by around 49.7 gigawatt hours per day. SSE said on Thursday the cut was around 16.5 GWh/day.
