The pandemic has given many of us some newly discovered leisure time for self-love, with online retailer Cult Beauty reporting a 61 per cent increase in “sex tech” products since March, and Ann Summers reporting a 900 per cent increase in sales of its sex toys during the first lockdown. How else would you spend all those unbridled hours?
If you’re toy-curious but are yet to invest, the annual celebration is the perfect excuse to prioritise your sexual pleasure, whether you’re single, in a relationship or somewhere in-between.
Sure, the usual blooms and boxes of chocolates are a failsafe option for putting a smile on someone’s face but, unlike roses that wilt and truffles that get devoured in mere moments, a sex toy is a wise investment that will bring joy again and again.
Whether you’re looking to try one out for the first time, upgrade your existing couple’s collection or perhaps you simply love to grab a bargain, the good news is that there are hundreds of options on the market, many of which are currently on sale.

Lovehoney
Following on from its annual New Year sale, Love Honey has launched a range of new discounts for Valentine’s Day, including an impressive reduction on its sucker for love bundle box which has been designed for couples.
Available for £75, the box has an RRP of £125.94 and contains six items including a truth or dare card game, the Womanizer rechargeable clitoral suction stimulator, massage oil, a silicone love ring, a beginner's butt plug and a sensual body massager.
The retailer is also offering 20 per cent off the Womanizer pro40 (was £99.99, now £79.99), which is designed with a touchless pulsing sensation.
While we can’t vouch for this exact model, Lily Allen’s version (£89, Womanizer) of the toy received high praise in our review. “The toy itself works well. Really, really well actually. It’s very intense, but it’s quiet enough that you could use it comfortably if you don’t have total privacy in your home,” our tester said.
Lelo
Swedish brand Lelo is best known for creating unconventional sex toys that are designed to ensure everyone enjoys sexual wellness. And now you can do so at a fraction of the usual price.
The retailer currently has up to 80 per cent off selected products including condoms and the Tiani 24k vibrator, which features a ring of 24 karat gold (was £339, now £169.50).
An earlier version of the toy, the Tiana 3 (£129), featured in our round-up of the best sex toys for solo pleasure, with the reviewer adding that it’s also a great choice for couples.
“Lots of brands have mimicked this design, but Lelo is the original and the best. It’s a full, rolling vibration, and the tech is reliable enough that you can change settings at the touch of a button during sex,” they said.
Womanizer
The brand known for introducing the world to “pleasure air technology”, Womanizer has reduced a number of its sex toys ahead of Valentine’s Day, including the pro (was £199, now £149), which adds glamour to your self-love sessions with a chic design finished with a Swarovski crystal.
A similar model, the Womanizer premium (£169), was highlighted in our review of the best sex toys for helping to achieve multiple orgasms. “It isn’t cheap – but it’s extremely impressive. It's almost silent, beautifully designed, and pretty much guaranteed to hit the spot,” they said.
Boots
Boots is offering its customers the chance to save 25 per cent across its sexual wellbeing range, which includes everything from condoms and lubricant to sex toys, using the code “REBOOT25”.
The sale features a number of sex toys from leading brands, such as Lelo, Love Honey, My Viv, Smile Makers, spanning vibrators, bullets and couples’s massagers.
Among the products you can get your hands on at a discounted price is the Lelo tor 2, which has been reduced from £109 to £81.20. The toy featured in our guide to the best sex toys for couples, with our reviewer highlighting its multi speed motor. “But, while duly noting that not all couples boast a penis, and acknowledging that this also is rather good on a dildo – we believe it would be a shame not to celebrate this particularly good cock ring,” they said.
We-vibe
As part of its sale, We-vibe is offering up to 53 per cent off its range of sex toys, which includes everything from couple’s vibrators to mini vibes.
The brand’s tango toy, which featured in our round-up of the best ones for solo pleasure, is currently reduced from £79 to £49.
“The tango bullet is the classic of the bullet genre, a perfect gift, and destined to be kept for years to come and eventually replaced if it wears out,” the reviewer said. “It’s got a round, generous vibration, rather than the thinner and sharper sensation that some cheaper bullets produce. Plus, it’s gloriously quiet and quick to recharge.”
