Value trap

A stock or bond which appears to be very cheap at a first glance but is not actually undervalued according to its fundamentals. The stock or bond may have seen a significant fall in price in a relatively short period of time and is unlikely to ever recover to fair value. Value traps can often be mistaken for value stocks which have strong fundamentals and are likely to rise over time.
