Yahoo Finance Vanessa Hudgens Marries MLB Star Cole Tucker in Dreamy Beach Ceremony
Vanessa Hudgens is a married lady! The actor wed NBA star Cole Tucker over the weekend.
The two celebrated their love with a beach ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, on Saturday, People confirmed.
Though neither party has publicly confirmed the nuptials, a photo surfaced on X on the weekend of Hudgens posing on the beach barefoot in a breezy white strapless dress. Plus, her former High School Musical costar Monique Coleman posted a video on her Instagram Story of her partying with Hudgens in the beach town.
In a May appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Hudgens opened up about her wedding plans, saying that finding a venue was proving to be “tough.” She said, “I kind of just want to elope. I really, I'm lost.”
When asked about Tucker's thoughts, Hudgens replied, “I mean, he just wants to get married to me. He's like, 'Whatever you want, babe.'”
Hudgens and Tucker began dating in late 2020 after meeting on a Zoom meditation group call, months after the actor's split from Austin Butler, whom she dated for more than eight years. In November 2021, the couple made their red-carpet debut at the premiere of her film Tick... Tick... Boom!. And this February, the basketball star proposed.
In an Instagram post announcing their engagement, Hudgens shared a photo of herself and Tucker looking happy with the Eiffel Tower behind them, as well as a snap of her hand with her new diamond ring. “YES. We couldn’t be happier 🤍,” she wrote in the caption.
She later posted a sweet photo of Tucker kissing her cheek at their engagement party. “Real magnetic love is out there. What a journey it was to get here but so worth it to get to my forever @cotuck 🥰 Happy Valentine’s Day❤️,” she wrote in the caption.
