A Vegan Version Of Boursin Is Launching And We Can’t Wait To Smother It On Crackers
What are some of life’s simple pleasures? A baby giggling? The first daffodil of spring? Hearing Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas the second the clock strikes 00.01 on 1 November? Sure. But nothing beats a walloping great dollop of Boursin on a crusty bit of bead, am I right?
But for years, our vegan pals haven’t been able to get stuck into this delicious soft cheese with garlic and herbs. But, lucky for you folk who follow a plant-based diet, you will also soon be able to enjoy Boursin because a vegan Boursin is launching!
Speaking about the new vegan spread, Boursin says, “Following overwhelming demand and a whole lot of anticipation, the time has finally arrived for Boursin to launch its first ever plant-based alternative to cheese: Boursin Plant-Based Garlic & Herbs.
Boursin promises to serve up a delicious plant-based spread that’s inspired by the recipe of the original Boursin with a delicious combination of intense garlic, fragrant parsley and chives.
So, what makes it suitable for vegans? Well, instead of having a cheese base, its sunflower oil base gives the vegan certified launch a deliciously spreadable texture – just like original Boursin.
Vegan Boursin is available exclusively in Sainsbury’s from December until further nationwide roll-out from February 2022. You can pick up a pack for £3.
