The Vicar of Dibley star Dawn French has admitted she struggled while filming a tribute to co-star Emma Chambers in the upcoming specials.
The comedy classic was recently confirmed to be returning for three episodes over the festive period called The Vicar of Dibley in Lockdown, which will see her character Reverend Geraldine Grander give sermons over Zoom.
However, as part of the episodes there will be a eulogy for Chambers' character Alice Tinker, following the death of the actress in 2018.

Speaking about what's to come on Lorraine, French revealed: "We try to be light and funny but we also remember those who aren't with us anymore.
"There's a eulogy to Alice there, which wasn't very easy for me to film, but was important to do."
Emma sadly passed away nearly three years ago from natural causes, which led to a flood of tributes from stars and fans alike.

"The very dearly departed Alice Tinker is also still an important presence in the village, with some residents still looking for lost buttons and the arrival of decimalisation," they said as part of their statement.
