It's only been a few weeks since You season three arrived on Netflix, and although we've already rewatched the series more times than we'd care to admit, we're still obsessed with any kind of behind-the-scenes gossip we can get our hands on. Thankfully, Victoria Pedretti, aka Love Quinn, has given us a slice of just that – revealing that it was "strange" to film sex scenes with on-screen husband Penn Badgley, aka Joe Goldberg.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Pedretti explained how the COVID-19 pandemic made filming intimate scenes different to those we saw in season two. "I felt very lucky that they [Love and Joe] start off their relationship at odds with each other, navigating the awkwardness of being new parents," she said, "It felt strange to be physically intimate very early on, even though we're supposed to be a married couple."

Despite having a pretty hands-on relationship in the second season, the 26-year-old actor pointed out that a year of being locked up at home meant she needed to find her groove with Badgley again. "It didn't just immediately come back after being in a global pandemic," she admitted.

Badgley, who also starred in the OG series of Gossip Girl, agreed. "It's really true, the implications of all that stuff was really felt," he said, also adding that much of the series was rewritten to accommodate the pandemic. "There were significant rewrites throughout the whole season to try and negotiate around these scenes that would require a lot of people," the 34-year-old actor revealed.
