FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Volkswagen on Tuesday said it struck a wage deal with union IG Metall that will see salaries rise by 2.3% from 2022 for about 120,000 of its workers.
The deal, struck after months of wrangling, also includes a 1,000 euro ($1,190) one time "corona support payment" in June 2021, the world's second-largest carmaker said.
