Richard Killingbeck joins WH Ireland

WH Ireland, a leading stockbroking, wealth management and corporate finance services group, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Richard Killingbeck as Head of Private Wealth Management in order to help accelerate the growth of that business. Richard will join the Company with effect from 18 September 2012. He will succeed John Scott who will be returning to managing his private client portfolios. John will continue as an executive director on the WH Ireland Board.

With over 25 years' experience, Richard is a well known figure in the industry. He began his career at Cazenove Partners in 1984 before joining Morgan Grenfell. In 1994 he moved to Singer ∓ Friedlander Investment Management where he spent just over 11 years in a number of roles including Chief Investment Officer and CEO of their investment management business.

Richard has since held senior management positions at Close Brothers Asset Management as Head of the High Net Worth business, and Credit Suisse (NYSEArca: CSMA - news) as a Managing Director within its UK Private Banking business.

Richard Killingbeck commented: "I am very excited to be joining a business as entrepreneurial as WH Ireland at this period in the Company's development. With significant industry changes there is a considerable opportunity for WH Ireland to grow the Private Wealth Management business.
