Michael Kors (KORS) expects the sales for 4Q16 to be $1.13–$1.15 billion. This includes the sales from the extra 53rd week and flat comparable store sales growth. The adjusted EPS (earnings per share) is expected to grow by $0.93–$0.97. This is in line with Wall Street analysts’ estimate of $0.97. This suggests growth of around 7.0%.

The fiscal 2016 revenue is estimated to be around $4.7 billion. The adjusted EPS is expected to be $4.38–$4.42.

Analysts’ recommendation

Wall Street analysts’ consensus is to “hold” the stock. This recommendation was from 22 out of the 30 analysts. It’s a handsome 73%. The other 27% of the Wall Street analysts said that the stock is cheap. They recommended a “buy.” This can be seen in the above chart. Investment research firms that have a “buy” recommendation for Michael Kors (XLY) stock include Morgan Stanley, Jefferies, and Nomura. The company’s peers including Ralph Lauren (RL), Kate Spade & Co. (KATE), and Coach (COH) have a consensus “buy” recommendation.
