This Week's Top Growth & Income Stocks

Caterpillar (CAT) is the world’s leading equipment maker. They reported yesterday, beating both on the top and bottom lines. They also raised their outlook for sales and adjusted earnings the current year.

Analysts has been raising their estimates for the company before the results and we should expect a big boost in the coming days after the strong report and upgraded guidance.

The company had to struggle with years of sluggish demand but with economic growth picking up in most parts of the world, their outlook has improved substantially, particularly since they derive more than half of their sales from outside the US.

And, while the timing of Trump’s $1 trillion infrastructure spending plan remains uncertain, Caterpillar is expected to be a big winner from the plan.
