West Ham vs Dinamo Zagreb: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results today

Dinamo Zagreb travel to London Stadium tonight with West Ham out to finish off their Europa League group stage with their unbeaten record in tact.

David Moyes’ side have already secured top spot and qualification, and so will return to the European stage next year regardless of Thursday night’s result, but they will be keen to put on a show in front of their home fans.

Defeat for Dinamo would mean they could potentially slip down to third in the group so they still have plenty to play for at the London Stadium, where West Ham may decide to give minutes to some of their youngsters.

Date, kick-off time and venue:

The Europa League meeting is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off on Thursday December 9, 2021.

West Ham vs Dinamo Zagreb team news

The Hammers will definitely be without Kurt Zouma, who suffered a hamstring tendon injury in the victory over Chelsea.

No timescale has yet been put on the injury, but the Frenchman looks set to join fellow centre-back Angelo Ogbonna on the sidelines for a sustained period. Ben Johnson also picked up a hamstring injury against Chelsea, and while it is not as serious, he is unlikely to feature against Dinamo Zagreb.

Aaron Cresswell is yet to return from a back injury against Man City, and is expected to miss out once again.

West Ham vs Dinamo Zagreb prediction

With Europa League qualification and top spot already secured, David Moyes may be tempted to rotate his squad and rest some of his key men.

But even with a much-changed side, West Ham should still have too much for a team they cruised past in the reverse fixture, and they look set to finish the group stage unbeaten and go into the knockout stage on a high.
