Topeka, Kan., Aug. 26, 2016 - The Westar Energy, Inc. (WR) Board of Directors today declared a quarterly dividend of 38 cents per share payable Oct. 3, 2016, on the company`s common stock. The dividends are payable to shareholders of record as of Sept. 9, 2016.
