They’ve sold us insurance we can’t use, taken billions in bailouts from our taxes and pay derisory amounts on our savings. So what have the banks ever done for us?

Apart from the mortgages, current accounts, credit cards, jobs, taxes paid, income for the economy, providing cash machines....

But when you tally it all up, would we be better off if they just went away?
