Manchester United will face Villarreal in the 2021 Europa League Final.

United were huge favourites to progress given they won the first leg of their semi-final tie 6-2 against AS Roma, and eased through 8-5 on aggregate despite a 3-2 defeat in Rome.

As for United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal, the Gunners failed to overturn a 2-1 first-leg defeat in Spain as their former coach Unai Emery sealed a goalless draw in north London to reach the final.

When is the Europa League Final 2021?

The 2020/21 Europa League Final will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Europa League Final kick-off time and venue

The match will take place at 8pm BST at Gdansk Stadium (Stadion Energa) in Gdansk, Poland.

The stadium hosted four games at Euro 2012 and has a capacity of 41,620.

Europa League Final tickets

Up to 9,500 fans will be able to buy tickets for the final after Uefa received approval from Polish authorities to fill the stadium to 25 per cent capacity.

Both finalists will receive 2,000 tickets each, with a further 2,000 offered to the general public and the remaining tickets allocated to the local organising committe, Uefa and national association as well as commercial partners and broadcasters.
