Woman allegedly catches husband cheating through Ring doorbell footage: 'Too sick to go on the family trip'

Though stories of alleged cheating have become more prevalent over the past few years, that hasn’t stopped people from getting caught.

TikTok user @kaylie271 shared footage from her Ring doorbell security camera in which her husband appears to be unfaithful.

“When your husband is too sick to go on the family trip you planned,” she wrote in the caption.

The black and white recording showed a man leaving the house, followed seconds later by a woman who met him on the porch and gave him a kiss before leaving.

TikToker @kaylie271 first shared the post in October 2020, tacking on the hashtags “cheater” and “garbage,” so her opinions about the alleged encounter are no secret. The video garnered more than 5 million views.

She claimed in the comments that her husband “thought the camera was disabled.” Days later, she said, “locks have been changed, and he no longer lives there.”

Commenters shared their disdain for the situation.

“He must have wanted to get caught,” one said.

“My heart sank to the floor, and I don’t even know you guys. I’m sorry,” another wrote.

The video went viral again at the end of the year as part of a trend in which TikTokers shared their most popular videos from 2021.

When a follower asked if her husband apologized for the incident, @kaylie271 posted a video response.

“Yes, he has been apologizing to me, but I don’t think any apology is ever going to be good enough,” she said. “I don’t think I can ever be at a point where I can be like, ‘It’s okay,’ because it wasn’t okay.”
