Transitioning from one job to another does not have to be a difficult experience. Making sure you leave your current place of employment on a positive note is certainly possible. If you are writing a formal resignation letter, remember these tips to ease the process:
Talk to your immediate supervisor privately and tell them of your intentions. This is the informal way to give your notice.
Write a formal resignation letter once you have talked to your supervisor.
