Young Thug collaborating with Von Dutch on streetwear collection

Young Thug is teaming up with Von Dutch on a new fashion collection.

The rapper, who dropped his Punk album last week, has partnered with designers at the "Hollywood heritage" brand on the pink-themed line, which includes a variety of streetwear staples, such as unisex hoodie and jogger sets, padded jackets, bowling bags, trucker hats, and footwear.

"This is the start of something much bigger than you know," said Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, while Ed Goldman, general manager of Von Dutch US, is thrilled to have the star onboard at the label. "Ultimately, this is a tasteful but eye-grabbing mix of minimalist streetwear staples that best represents Young Thug's authenticity. As a maestro, he has a point of view all his own when it comes to his music and fashion. Collectively, Von Dutch and Young Thug pushed the envelope and challenged the typical parameters of streetwear to present this off-beat collection."

In addition, Goldman insisted the 30-year-old took a hands-on approach to the design process, and even had a part in selecting details, materials, and fabrics.

The Von Dutch x Young Thug Collection line will be able to purchase online and at specialty streetwear shops from the end of October.
