Zara Tindall has been dressing up to watch Cheltenham races from home, as the annual horse racing event continues behind closed doors.

The Queen's granddaughter is a regular at the equestrian fixture, but like thousands of other fans, has had to make do with watching from home this year.

But Zara hasn't let staying in affect her Cheltenham outfits, and has been displaying impressive headwear on Instagram.

Publicist Nicky Malone shared two pictures of the royal in her Cheltenham hats, made by Justine Bradley-Hill and Juliette Botterill Millinery.

The royal chose the Rose and Bows cocktail hat from Juliette Botterill Millinery on the second day of the races. Hats from the milliner cost around £500 each.

In previous years, Zara has used the milliner to create bespoke pieces for her Cheltenham looks.

On day one she wore a Martha Beret from Justine Bradley-Hill. Prices at the Yorkshire milliner start at about £350 and go up to £575.

The hat was paired with a Monsoon coat, styled by Annie Miall, who is also stylist to Zara's sister-in-law Autumn Philips.

Zara, who is married to former England rugby player Mike Tindall, is expecting the couple's third child.

Tindall announced his wife's pregnancy on his podcast, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, but it's not known when she is due to give birth.

Depending on when Meghan Markle, the wife of Zara's cousin Prince Harry, gives birth, the youngest Tindall will be the Queen's 10th or 11th great-grandchild.

Although Zara is the daughter of Princess Anne, she doesn't have a royal title, as her mother opted not to give her one when offered by the Queen at her birth.

Zara has never carried out royal duties, but had success in the equestrian world, like her mother. She has won several medals from competitions around the world and won a team silver at the Olympics in London in 2012.

She's regularly seen at events like Cheltenham races and Royal Ascot.

Last year's Cheltenham races came under fire when it ran at full capacity despite an increasing rate of coronavirus in the UK.

Shortly after the races, the UK went into a national lockdown.
