As tens of thousands of students discover whether they have made the grade with their A-level results, some may not have obtained the grades they hoped for, while others might fancy going straight into work.

There are still plenty of well-paid jobs out there that do not need a degree. Jobs website Indeed has compiled a list of the top 10 best-paid professions where having a university education is not a prerequisite.
